Respect!

Hey guys! I'm here in the good 'ol sunny state of California. I'm waiting for some friends to come and we're going to go walk the streets for this fair they're having. :) in the meantime I thought I'd kill some time and write about something thats happened here.
So on sunday,  my friends and I went to the singles ward in Escondido and we met some really super nice guys. And we've basically been hanging out with them constantly. The funny thing is that some of them arent' LDS, and so they have different standards then us. But talking to them about our religion and telling them what we do/don't do, they've really really respected us. For example; some of them swear like sailors and when they're with us they've been trying so hard to not slip up. Also one dude is trying hard to not drink anymore and we're so proud of him. Even just last night we had this bonfire on the beach and some random guys came around the fire with us and as soon as we told them things about ourselves they tried so hard to be respectful. I don't know why, but this made me so happy. I just feel like if you act a certain way, people will follow your example. And the people you hang out with will act how you do. So if you hang out with party peope who smoke/drink/dowhatever you will in most cases give into that. But since these boys know we've never drank alcohol, or smoked they try extra hard to respect us. I love it. & I love our new friends!! AHHH life is so good. Just know that you don't have to be peer pressured to be something you don't want to be. You can have fun and still live a clean lifestyle. I believe in YOU! :)
I love you guys.
I feel so inspired right now. BYE!
