Happiness is a Warm Gun

Happiness. HAPPINESS! In my opinion, happiness is a choice. You can choose to be happy, or you can choose to be sad. My question is, why would anyone ever want to choose the latter? I know that life isn't perfect and it can be super stressful, but life is so much easier if you focus on the good things that happen to you. Of course every now and then I have my "emo" moments. But honestly I try to not let my mind drown in negative thoughts, because whats the point? What benefits do you get out of thinking about the bad things? I don't see any. What I'm trying to say is attempt to make the mental choice (daily) that you are going to be happy. You are going to see the wonderful things in life, like sunsets, and trees, and the beautiful world around you. Notice the small acts of kindness that you see others do around you. PARTICIPATE in small acts of kindness. Be selfless. And remember that people will see your example, and echo it in their own life.

“There's nothing like deep breaths after laughing that hard. Nothing in the world like a sore stomach for the right reasons.”

“I've got nothing to do today but smile.”
